Tier 2
Focusing on the Campus Environment
The options offered at this level service entire classrooms, groups of individuals, and are often specialized to move the temperature of specific classes.
Skill Building Groups enhance one of the most integral parts of youth development. Groups that provide peer and social interaction allow not only the opportunity for direct skill development, but the addition of group element allows for peer-to-peer modeling and dynamics, which may often be generalized to the students’ daily routine. Programming for these groups can be tailored to a specific class needs, school grade level, or to assist in fulfilling IEP needs. Some groups offered include social skills, teen anxiety, kindergarten social emotional camp etc.
Peer Leadership and Mediation
Summer Transition Programs: While the SBIs available to are districts are often placed during the parameters of the academic year, we do offer a wonderful option for summer programming. This offering can allow ongoing support for students and classes who may require extras support during an extended school year or even create supplemental enrichment support for students who are transitioning grade or school levels.
In addition, students from this tier can access PerformCare, Intensive Outpatient programs, Children’s Mobile Response, and Outpatient counseling from our Parent Organization Care Plus New Jersey.
Tier 1
Creating professional development to support emotional and supportive learning environments. We offer classroom based mental health workshops, parent engagement opportunities, and access to a network of providers.
Tier 2
Identified youth can participate in skill development. With an emphasis of conflict resolution, mindfulness, stress management, social skills and peer leadership. On campus and summer transition programs available.
Tier 3
Addressing the most significant mental health support for our districts, we work with identified youth who can participate in in counseling individually and with their families. Crisis intervention, school avoidance, IEP services, and are available.
